First of all, I’ve retired from VLTrans for a long time already, and just come back when I saw the post from Aaeru’s blog. I’m very sorry for not keeping my promise of releasing the full patch, life is cruel and you can’t predict what will come up ahead 😦
@Magicflier: Anyway, it’s a great news that someone is willing to pick Koitate. Many have asked for the translated scripts and tools before, but somehow I haven’t received your mail yet. Here I’ll quote one of my replies containing all means to start your new project.
The project is stalled for ~ 2 years now since the translator doesn’t want to finish it. So yes, it’s dropped. I’ll send you the tool to work on your project.
Here’s the files for translating Koitate:Instructions:Extract all of them to your game’s folder, the script.rar is just in case my old script folder has some weird modifications (it’s been a long time so I’m not sure which part)Use the .bat file “get” to get new script files, it will be placed in “txt” folder.Use the .bat file “put” to make a script2.arc in your game folder, the English text will come from there.Run the game with “Koitate-en” to see the changes.2013/6/21 Darkquake .t <darkquake.t@gmail.com>

Well, to be honest, it’s pretty meaningless to re-release something that someone else have done, however, since the translation of the previous one is pretty off from the Japanese version in some scenes, I guess there’s no harm to do this.
