To run this patch, do the followings:
1. Extract the Koitate_Ren.rar.
2. Copy all of the content to the game’s main directory, you don’t need to backup or overwrite anything.
Then simply run the koitate_en.exe to play the game in English.
========== Release Notes ==========
This patch contains:
- Translation of the prologue, Common route, Yukino route, Ren route and some first scenes of other heroines (as well as Yuuri’s Ending, lol).
- New exe file for changing the default font to “Tahoma” font.
Some issues on this patch:
- Broken texts on choices and names of several characters
- May contains some mistakes and bugs.

There’s nothing wrong with the exe file, perhaps Norton misidentified it as a virus because the exe file’s working principle is to use another exe to run the game or because it uses a font from system for text-in-game.

Is there any walkthrough for Ren’s Route?
You don’t really need a walkthrough for Ren’s route or this game in general imo
Just pick choices that would favor her(as in talk/see her or if one of the choices even has her name on it)
Anyways is Yuuri’s route mostly translated? Or just the first few scenes and the ending scene?

found a site, you just gotta use google translate, and somehow make out what it means, or take it word by word using google to find the meaning.
Took me a while to make this. And here is Ren’s walkthrough. Default route is Yukino’s, so some options heavily point towards Ren. If you miss these, then that current game is screwed from Ren’s. I will put a * on the important ones. Also, there are some minor spoilers in the brackets. If you understand them, then you do.

Well, as Caliburn stated, you don’t really need walkthrough for 3 main heroines (Yukino, Ren, Marina), just choose the choice which would favor them and you’ll get to their route

For Yukino’s The walk through has a slight mistake, which is the last option. If you choose ‘It is not time for this’, you will get a bad end. ‘I wonder if this feeling is love’ will give you the good end. For some reason, you have to make Shuuji prioritize the girl he likes over his body guarding work /\=3=/\

Just like what you’ve read, some of Yuuri’s first scenes (2, I believe) and her Ending were translated, ask Nanaya for the reason of what-the-hell-is-this, he’s a Yuuri freak and can’t wait until her route come into the line.
Well, as a Yuuri fan myself, I’m glad I can play some scenes about her. I’ll be looking forward to Yuuri’s patch :p
Sorry to bother you guys, but whenever I extract the file it only shows 3 things: Koitate.bin, READ ME, and script2.arc. I can’t seem to find the Koitate_en.exe. I’m using Free RAR extract Frog. Can anyone help me figure out my problem? Also, the Koitate.bin file registers as a VLC player file. Is that suppose to happen?
It’s completely fine for me, perhaps your .rar file was broken during the download, you can download the file again or try to repair the downloaded file, I put a RR there in the case anyway

I get an error message when i try to start the game with Koitate_en or the original japanese Koitate. Unfortunatly I can’t read the message to tell you what it says.
fixed it just had to set compatibility in windows 7 to windows xp
Hope that you guys start working on the next patch soon. Tried reading through a few line of Yuuri’s route… It was hell. Or are you guys gonna do Setsuko’s first? Hell, I don’t really care much even if it’s Marina’s route, as long as you guys give us something.
I’d like to thank you guys for releasing this patch. I look forward to the next patch. If you guys need someone to look over lines for errors/grammar, I don’t mind doing that. I have no knowledge of the Japanese language, but I’m pretty good at spotting errors in the English language. Thanks again.
